UTAH 2002
This site contains some of the photos I have taken at the beginning of my digital photography endeavor. I have placed them here to share with family and friends. Note the copyright notice below.
The photos of Utah 2002 and Wyoming and some of the 'Other' Photos were taken with a Nikon CP 990 digital camera. In July 2002 I upgraded to a Nikon D100 digital camera. All pictures taken in Arizona 2003, Utah 2003, London/Cairo 2002, Virginia 2002 and Reno to Texas 2004 were taken with the D100.
I currently use a Nikon D2x. I also have a website for the sale of some of these images and some of my more recent ones at www.RNBPhotos.com.
I have entered several digital photo contests and have had over 200 winners . The panoramas (like the ones above) were created by taking a series of photos and then later stitching these photos together with special software to form one picture. I have had fun taking them and I hope you'll enjoy viewing them.
I tried to balance quality of the photos as presented with speed of opening. Some of them may appear grainy especially those taken in low light conditions. Taking a 1 megabyte photo and compressing it to a 80 kilobyte file will sacrifice quality but will allow it to be opened in a few seconds instead of "forever", especially for those who use a dial-up modem to access the internet.
"<<" and ">>", which appear on either side of the title of an enlarged photograph, can be used to go to the next picture (>>) or back to the previous picture (<<) with the left-mouse button.
